First Aid Course
El-Menahil International School offers a new first aid course in collaboration with RISE International Group and Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı, supervised by Dr. Bilal Sanhoub.
These courses are essential for increasing awareness about emergencies such as earthquakes and suffocation incidents and teaching safe and effective methods for providing immediate medical assistance.
Courses like these are crucial in training individuals to effectively respond and assist in emergency situations, such as the devastating earthquake that struck southern Turkey, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide much-needed support and aid.
The main topics covered in the course include:
- Fundamentals of first aid.
- Shock and seizure management.
- Bleeding and various types of wounds.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Burns and different types of poisoning.
- Choking emergencies.
- Fractures and transportation.
- Proper methods for transferring the injured to the hospital.
- Intramuscular and intravenous injections.
- The course also includes hands-on practical exercises to apply the knowledge gained during the training.
