From the suffering of displacement to university seats

Ali, is a young man from Aleppo, was forced ten years ago to abandon his studies and his future as a result of the tough conditions of displacement to Istanbul, where he worked in a difficult situations to secure his daily bread. But hope returned to shine in his life when El-Menahil School opened its doors and embraced him, bringing him back to school and opening new horizons for him. Not only Ali, but his father too found an opportunity to work as a teacher in the school
Today, after years of struggle, Ali is a university student receiving a scholarship from Tzu Chi Foundation, which for Ali is an example of giving, even a school of giving. Ali learned from Tzu Chi how to make giving a part of his life, so he works now in the relief field with another organization, carrying the message of humanity that Tzu Chi planted in him.
