Handicrafts play an important role in the activities of the El-Menahil Summer Camp. Students used recycling techniques to make cardboard bags and masks, which they designed themselves in an atmosphere of joy and happiness. Other students, in a spirit of cooperation and teamwork, made cardboard houses for cats and placed them in alleys to provide shelter for these pets. In the context of handicrafts and using simple tools, the students learned how to make soap, the materials used and the process itself. This activity boosts intellectual and cognitive abilities, like accuracy in material measurement, and assists students in crafting soap molds in their preferred shapes.
