Refugee Support Conference

Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı participates in a meeting of civil society organizations for refugees’ relief.

Today, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) held a meeting with many organizations, associations, and bodies working in the field of relief and interested in supporting refugees and war-displaced people.

Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı was invited to participate in this conference, as it is a foundation that has been supporting the refugees in Istanbul for nearly 7 years.

The meeting touched upon the conditions that must be taken into consideration in order for any organization or charitable body to obtain funding for the purpose of helping refugees, and how to submit a funding appeal.

An upcoming meeting is scheduled to be on October 28th.
