Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı participated in a coordination meeting organized by UNICEF, attended by representatives of the Migration Department and the Lifelong Education Directorate, along with a large number of civil society organizations from various Turkish provinces. The meeting addressed the educational obstacles that stand in the way of refugee children towards their right to education, as it witnessed an in-depth and serious discussion about the challenges of access to education and mechanisms for overcoming them, with focusing on practical solutions that illuminate the future of these children.
In this context,Tzu Chi foundation had a clear impact through its effective contribution to the “Back to School Campaign” launched by UNICEF two months ago. The Endowment worked to shed light on the most prominent difficulties facing refugee children while enrolling in school, and presented the results of those efforts during the meeting.
He also pledged to continue working side by side with the concerned authorities and civil society organizations to develop effective mechanisms that contribute to overcoming these obstacles, keeping in mind the dream of every child to obtain a fair and bright educational opportunity.
