Relief aid for Ukrainian refugees begins in Poland
Tzu Chi Foundation has begun providing support to Ukrainian refugees who sought refuge in Poland after the war had waged nearly two months ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Hu had recently joined the Tzu Chi team heading to Poland to participate in charitable work to support those affected by the war there.
Several steps were taken starting by preparing and training volunteers in addition to creating a special assistance request form for families with direct technical support from the Tzu Chi team in Turkey resulting in assisting about 270 Ukrainian refugee families.
It is worth mentioning that relief works coincided with the establishment of a charitable ceremony that included songs and chants of sympathy and solidarity with the refugees, where the ceremony’s incomes will be donated for the benefit of those refugees.
Tzu Chi volunteers around the world do not hesitate to do their best to grant love and hope to those who have been exhausted by wars.
